DHPA is pleased to present its annual report and financial statement for the year ended
2024. The trustees a￿ satisfied with the performance of the charily over the year and
consider it to be in a comfortable position to meet ils futu￿ obligation and conlinue its work.
Objectives and Activities
The objedive of the association is to advance the education of pupils in the school in
particular by:
Developing effective relationships between the staff, parenls and others associated with the
school.
Engaging in activilies and providing facilities or equipment which support the school and
advance the education of the pupils.
The trustees have taken into account the guidance issued by the charities commission. The
DHPA continues to review its policies and procedures to comply with the govemance code
to the furthest extent possible. Each trustee is aware of their roles and responsibilities.
Activity Overview
The DHPA ran the following events in the year 2024.
Variou5 food items (Samosa. Donut, Cakes, Popcorn) Sale.
Used Uniform Sale
Book Sale
Durston Ball
Quiz Night
Pre-prep Christmas Party
Cinema Event
The primary goals of the above charity events were:
To raise funds to support charitable causes.
To increase awareness about the importance of giving back to the community.
To foster a sense of unity and compassion within our school community.

including chairs, vice-chairs, secretaries and treasurers are parent volunteers appointed by
the other parents al the AGM (Annual General Meeling) Nominations for eleclion to the
Committee may be made by any member of the a550cialion and seconded by anothef. Such
nominations must have the consent of the nominee. Nominations should be rnade in writing
to the Chair at any time until the eledion process has been completed. If no nominations or
an insufficienl number a￿ received befo￿ the AGM. any members Present may nominate a
per50n. Kfjth Iheir consent. and that person may be appointed by a majority Vote of those
present. The DHPA members meet every month to discus5 all the upcoming events and any
other agenda conceming it. All trustees are directed to, and encouraged lo read 'The Charity

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ('Ihe Trust") for the year ended 3111 December 2024.

basls of report
As the charity's trustees. you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
{'the Act.).
l ￿pOrt in respect of my examination of Ihe Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of Ihe 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I
have followed 811 the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5){b) of the Act.
Independ•nt I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
oxamln•r's stat•ment come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me
cause to believe that in, any material respect..
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charities Act; or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
conceming the form and contenl of accounts set out in the Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
that the accounts give a 'true and fairf view which is not a matter
onsidered as part of an indepondent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection
wrth the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in
order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
