The trustees, who are registered trustees on the charities commission of England and Wales. ## **PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES** The principles activity of the charity in the year under review was to help or prevent poverty or financial hardship anywhere in the world. This will be done by assisting or providing the provision of education, training, healthcare and all the necessary support to help individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self sufficient. ## **STRUCTURE GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT** The charity will be managed by the Trustees who are registered with the charities commission. The charity is registered for England and Wales on 6th January 2023. The Trustees manage all the activities of the charity and exercise all the power in accordance Charities Act 2011. ## **ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE** The charity has collected £321,921.62 from various sources in the year ending March 2024. Few fund raiser events for the Charitable events were held this year and emphasis was laid on increasing monthly donations and controlling costs. We have also registered with the charities commission and are now able to claim gift aid to boost donations. ## **FINANCIAL REVIEW** This is the first year of operation for the charity and all goals and expectations have been exceeded. Due to the generosity and continuous hard work from all the trustee very high standards have been set. With such healthy reserves the next year the charity will be looking to increase donations and give out more to needy causes. We hope to continue this trend of raising such a large amount of money and focus will still want to increase monthly donations and control reduce costs where possible. BST) page 3 ## **INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S STATEMENT** ## **FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30/03/2024** ## **INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF Al QULUB TRUST** I report on the accounts of the company for the year ended 30/04/2024. ## **RESPECTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER** The trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed. The charity's gross income exceeded £250,000 and I am qualified to undertake the examination by being a qualified member of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales . Having satisfied myself that the charity is not subject to an audit under company law and is eligible for independent examination, it is my responsibility to: - examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act; - follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act; and - state whether particular matters have come to my attention. ## **BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINERS STATEMENT** My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters.
