**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF, THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY ANY MEANS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT, INCLUDING THROUGH THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS.

**Activities:** The Westmorland Orchestra is a "classical" symphony orchestra with around 50 members. We rehearse weekly in Kendal and present 3 concerts each year in Kendal and elsewhere in Westmorland. Our repertoire is broad and includes occasional commissions of new works.
