Key to Joy continues to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of adults with mild to m¢)derate learning disabilities in our local area. Through a combination of structured activities, emotional support and community integration we provide a safe and joyful environnement where individuals can thrive. Par8 1.20 We have supported approxirnately 90 individuals over the past year, most of whom attend our services at least 1 day a week. We reached the stsge where we were hitting capacity130 members per day) at our venue on each day our activities wet? running, and also had a waiting list of members. As such, we started actively looking for new pr8mises in order to be able to reach out to more people with learning disabilities in the local area. Our mernbers are pivotal in the seNice we provide so we continue to give them a voice through the monthly members hub. We have watched our members grow in confiden and dèvelop new skills that have enabled some to go out and take on paid work one day a wa8k. Others have been able to make friends and as such it has given them friendship group outside of their activity days. Some members have mèt up and done things together like going to London to see a music show. We continue to work on establishing an award scheme that we can offer to our members, focussing on 4 key elements of an individual's developrnent which are linked to our activities. This is something we hope to be able to offer as added value to our members to enable them to work towards something and feel pride in their achievement5. Total income for the yearwas £180,263, primarily from grants and funding, with additional incorne from activities and donations. Expenditure totalled £118,520. resulting in a surplus of £61,743. At the year end, the charity held cash balances of£213,750 and had minimal creditors of £1,034, leaving net Gurrent assets of£212,716. The charity has no fixed assets or long-tem liabilits'es and ended th8 year with total charitable funds of £212,716, providing a solid financial base for its on oin activities.
