This was followed byfinancing repairs to outdoor seating in the village which will benefit the inhabitants while outwalking. The long-negiected Bird Sanctuary beneftlled from the much-needed investment in providing a new access to the site via the allotment entrance such that off road parking is available forthe volunteers involved inthe management of the area. This area will almost certainlybe subjectto further investment in thefuture. In the attempt to reducethe carbon footprint and the heating costs of the Wells Cole Community Centre solar panels and a battery have been funded with works expected to carry on through into the newyear. The trust has also enjoyed the transferof funds from another sourcewhich took some time to resolve but will provide additional facilities within the village. Future fundingwiii be directed towards the Children's Play Park {with work commencing in the newyear). Sports Field flood lightingand an extension to the Playing Field Pavilion.
