## ANNUAL REPORT FOR 2024

**Start.** Although we were registered at the end of 2022, it took some sixteen months, to 18[th] May 2024, to get a functioning bank account. Those setbacks are now in the past.

**Income.** We received three initial donations during the summer, and now have one standing order. This gave us £2,450 for our Capital. A single dividend payment and a bit of bank interest gave us just under £15: this could have been spent on church expenditure, but being so small an amount, it has been added to the capital.

**Investment.** For the present, our capital is held in the Church of England Central Board of Finance Investment Fund (Income Shares), a fund set up and administered for just such church charities as ours. It makes four (roughly equal) dividend payments a year.

**Trustees.** Fr Peter Needham : Mr Paul Cunningham : Fr Nicholas Turner – once up and running smoothly, we shall add one more.

**Purpose.** The idea is to provide a regular annual income, for the church to use when needed; from a fund that cannot be used up or given away by either the diocese, the PCC or a future incumbent. This fund is not for the short term, nor the medium term, but for the long term future.
