Aims and
objectives
To advance education for the public benefit of the students at
Wheatley Park School by providing and assisting in the provision
of facilities and opportunities for education and educational
wellbeing.
Summary of the
main activities
undertaken for the
public benefit in
relation to these
objectives
The main activity of the charity is organising and supporting
fundraising events to raise money to support school projects,
provide additional resources and support extracurricular
opportunities with the aim of enhancing the students’
education and wellbeing.
Summary of the
main
achievements of
the charity during
the year
We continued to focus on our core objective of raising funds to
spend on projects and resources to benefit the school and
students. As well as the 3 trustees, we have built a core team
who assist in planning and a bank of parent supporters who
volunteer at events.
We raised funds by supporting the planning and running of a
number of large school events, eg:

musical bands competition

running a licensed bar over 4 nights during the school
production

supporting Christmas events, including running a Grand
Draw

a school summer music festival, involving live music,
dance, drama, refreshments and more
We also raised money through the sale of pre-loved school

uniform and operated a shopping scheme through easyfundraising. We have donated funds to the school for a variety of resources, including: • subsidising educational visits and theatre trips for priority students • £1,000 of books for the school library • wireless microphone for school assemblies and events • 3 large gazebos for outdoor events • projects to support the health, social and mental wellbeing of students. We continued to keep school families updated about events and how the money raised was spent. Our treasurer (and trustee) Greg Fish resigned from the PTA and was replaced in both roles by Stephanie Kitchen. Policy on reserves None Signed Jane Lightfoot Trustee (Secretary) June 2026
