The installation of a submersible pump.<br>D.The construction of a shelter for a security<br>guard.<br>Phase 1 has now been achieved and paid<br>for by the UPPCIO.<br>This is making progress towards the end<br>point of the project which will provide clean<br>water to irrigate the crops and prevent the<br>time consuming need for transporting water<br>by barrel. It will also provide wider benefits<br>for the local community who currently do not<br>have clean drinking water and are  prone to<br>waterborne disease such as diarrhoea,<br>typhoid and hepatitis. The clean drinking<br>water will be available on tap and prevent<br>disease.<br>**Phase 2**<br>This is currently underway to provide the<br>irrigation system.<br>**Phase 3**<br>This will follow with the installation of a 3,000<br>litre storage tank and the installation of solar<br>panels to provide electricity to power the<br>pump.|
