SEVERAL CHARITIES WORKING IN PAKISTAN AND GAZA TO
PROVIDE WATER PURIFICATION PLANT, SUPPORT FOR ISLAMIC
EDUCATION WORK AND PROJECTS FOR NEEDY. THIS HAS
BENEFIThED OVER 300 PEOPLE. THE TRUSTEES HAVE HAD DUE
REGARD TO THE GUIDANCE ISSUED BY THE CHARITY
COMMISSION ON PUBLIC BENEFIT AND ARE SATISFIED THAT
THEY ARE ADVANCING ISLAM AND RELIEVING FINANCIAL
HARDSHIP FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT.

DURING THE YEAR, THE CHARITY SECURED £5,845 IN GENERAL
DONATIONS AND HAD EXPENDITURE OF £4,720 WHICH WAS FOR
GRANTS FOR CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES. THIS GENERATED A
SURPLUS OF £1,125 WHICH WAS RETAINED MAINLY FOR FUTURE
CHARITABLE PROJECTS. THE RESERVES OF THE CHARITY WERE
£1,125 AT YEAR END. THE POLICY OF THE TRUSTEES IS NOT TO
HOLD ANY RESERVES BUT TO USE ANY SURPLUS OR RESERVES
FOR FUTURE CHARITABLE EXPENDITURE.
