## **CRO TRUSTEE ANNUAL REPORT SEPT 2024**

The Cave Rescue Organisation (CRO) was established in 1935 as a Cave Rescue team covering the main caving areas of the Yorkshire Dales. In 1960 the team also became a full Mountain Rescue team but continued with our original name (which admittedly does cause a bit of confusion). CRO are full voting members of both the British Cave Rescue Council (BCRC) and Mountain Rescue England and Wales (MREW).

The team is based in Clapham, North Yorkshire, and responds to Cave and Mountain Rescue incidents in the Three Peaks and Malhamdale areas of the Yorkshire Dales. The team is composed and run entirely by volunteers. As a team we attend between 80 and 100 incidents a year, details of which can be found in our annual Incident Reports, available on our website at https://cro.org.uk

## **ANNUAL INCOME AND EXPENDITURE**

CRO has been a charity for many years (registered as Charity Number 241091). Last year we became a CIO. We are in the process of transferring our accounts, which should be completed soon. Account details can be found by assessing the old charity on the Charity Commission website on via our website.
