## BGRC Girls Rugby Impact and Outcomes 2024 


Charity – 1200+ Girls Supported 


- BIL Girls League 

   - 22 Clubs 

   - Approx. 800+ Players 

   - 135 Matches 

- Girls School Tournaments – 2023-2024 

   - U12/U14/16s and End of Season Tournament Girls Competitions Held  - 150 girls attended end of season tournament - 


   - 400+ Girls supporting @ 17+ Separate Schools 

   - **400+ Rugby Balls** given out 2024 to support Girls Rugby 

- Schools Development 

   - 27+ Schools supported 

   - Over 80 hours of coaching time provided 

   - Kit, balls and / or playing equipment provided to over 12+ schools

BGRC Purpose and Key Objectives 

To promote and grow girls' rugby in Buckinghamshire and surrounding counties by – 

- Supporting the local Bucks Invitational League which is set-up to provide girls teams with competitive club rugby. 

- Promote the growth of girls' rugby in schools by providing coaching and equipment. 

- Provide school tournaments for the schools to give playing opportunities to the girls playing rugby in schools

## BRGC 2025 Objectives and Direction 



- Schools Tournaments - U12/U14/U16 

- Schools Development 

   - Yr5, Yr6 & Yr7 (priority – not exclusively) 

   - Schools in Bucks and Oxon 

   - Alignment of priorities with Grants and Funding 

   - More alignment with Bucks and Oxon RFU 

- Bucks Invitational League – BIL – Continued support 


- England RFU Development Pathway 

   - Support Rugby for all Girls through Schools into Clubs 

   - Alignment to support Girls Rugby Club development in Bucks and Oxon 

   - We will be supported by Olivia Jenkins and the competition activator in the build up to the 2025 Womens Rugby World Cup 


- Align with Love Rugby Messaging 



## Fund Raising Plan 2025 

- BIL League Membership 

   - fund the league and league costs 

- Grant applications aligned to impact and benefit 

   - Focus on Yr6-7 Schools development 

   - Schools Tournament funding 

- Girls Fitness Challenge Fund Raiser & **Hat Reward** 

   - Target 100+ Girls supporting 

- Alignment with clubs who want develop Girls rugby 

   - Yr5, 6 & 7 priority – match funding 





## BGRC – Trustees and Compliance 

**Trustees** – Alex Bond, Daniel Lock, Peter Tebbutt & Sarah Hammond 

**List of Policies** – Safeguarding Young People and Young Adults, Complaints, Conflict of Interest, Data Protection, Equality & Diversity, Health & Safety  and Volunteer.
