Trustee Changes

During this reporting period, we experienced a transition within our Board of Trustees. Hazvineyi Jambawo officially stepped down from their role, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude for their dedication and valuable contributions to Third Watch UK. Their commitment has played a significant role in advancing our mission, and we wish them every success in their future endeavours.

We are pleased to welcome Gideon Uzoagwa to as a member of the Board of trustee and the new Chair. With extensive experience in community outreach and governance and a strong background in management and Data Governance , He brings valuable insight and leadership that will strengthen our governance and enhance our impact. Their passion for sharing the gospel and empowering lives aligns well with our mission, and we look forward to their contributions in the years ahead.

These changes reflect our ongoing commitment to strong governance and strategic leadership as we continue to serve our community effectively.

Our activities have positively impacted individuals by strengthening their faith, providing essential support, foods, toiletries, meeting their basic needs and fostering a sense of community. Our activities and projects also serves as a means of meeting people’s individual needs as well as showing and spreading the love of Jesus Christ beyond the walls of our face to face events or online meetings.

Third Watch UK is committed to advancing the Christian faith and demonstrating Christ’s love through evangelism, discipleship, bible study, group prayer, retreats, meetings, seminars and charitable outreach across the United Kingdom. Our mission is to provide both spiritual support and practical assistance to communities, ensuring that our work aligns with the Charity Commission’s public benefit requirements .

How Third Watch UK Provides Public Benefit

Third Watch UK has been compliant in the execution of its public benefit responsibility by supporting Christians, pastors and churches in the UK as a platform free for people to join in our prayer, bible studies, evangelism activities and engage in a number of social and charitable functions.

In planning our charity activities for the year, trustees had given careful consideration to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit, and the specific guidance for charities for the advancement of religion in particular. Therefore, Third Watch UK is committed in its efforts of supporting Christians, churches, public regardless of religion and belief and providing theoretical and practical training for individual, Pastors, Ministers, church members and Leaders in Ministry on evangelism. On occasion supported individuals with resources needed to evangelise and reach out to the public and this include leaflets, bibles, books, microphone and speaker for the advancement of the Christian religion.

1. Advancing the Christian Faith (Spiritual Well-being & Education)

We conduct city-wide evangelistic outreaches, faith-based events, and discipleship programs to equip individuals and churches with biblical knowledge, evangelism training and spiritual growth opportunities. In 2022/2024:

Through these activities, we meet the public benefit requirement by promoting moral and ethical development, fostering community cohesion, and providing education on Christian values that encourage positive contributions to society.

2. Providing Charitable Relief to the Less Privileged (Meeting Social & Practical Needs)

Through The Compassion Project, Third Watch UK actively supports sick and terminally ill children and adults in the hospitals and hospices, homeless people and families facing hardship by providing essential resources such as food, clothing, toiletries and support. In 2023:
