Al Amal Foundation Charity Annual Report

Charity Registration Number: 1201295

Introduction:

This report marks a significant milestone for Al Amal Foundation as it is our first report since our registration as a charity in December 2022. We are pleased to present our achievements and activities undertaken during the past period, demonstrating our commitment to our mission and objectives.

Response to Humanitarian Crisis:

One of the most noteworthy achievements of Al Amal Foundation during this reporting period was our immediate response to the earthquake that struck South Turkey and North Syria. In the face of this crisis, we mobilized our resources and efforts to provide relief to those affected. Our response included the provision of essential items such as food parcels, hot meals, bread, water tanks, and clean fresh water. Additionally, we distributed tents, clothing, and blankets to offer shelter and comfort to those displaced by the disaster.

Expansion of Trustees:

Since our inception, we began with three dedicated trustees who worked tirelessly to advance our cause. We are delighted to report that in early this year, a fourth trustee joined our ranks, bringing valuable expertise and perspectives to our organisation commitment to serving displaced and

Refugees:

At the core of our mission, as outlined in our articles of association, is a steadfast commitment to supporting displaced individuals and refugees. Throughout the reporting period, we have remained unwavering in our dedication to this cause. We recognise the immense challenges faced by displaced populations, and we are determined to continue our efforts to alleviate their suffering and improve their quality of life.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, we are proud of the accomplishments of Al Amal Foundation during our inaugural year as a registered charity. We have responded effectively to humanitarian crises, expanded our trustee board, and reaffirmed our commitment to serving displaced and refugee populations. As we look ahead, we remain committed to fulfilling our mission and making a positive impact in the lives of those in need.

We express our sincere gratitude to the Charity Commission for their support and guidance, as well as to our donors, volunteers, and supporters who have contributed to our success. Together, we will continue to strive towards a better future for all.

Sincerely,

Al Amal Foundation
