Section F Other optional information

The Association continue to encounter administrative delays that prevent it from being able to fully transition into its new CIO structure, namely:

• Resolving the land registry transfer from the Old Wilsonians’ Association to the Old Wilsonians’ Association CIO.

• Delays setting up a bank account for the OWA CIO due to the ongoing issues with the wider ‘Know Your Customer’ exercise being undertaken by Barclays. That must be resolved as the priority for the existing OWA bank account to ensure continuation of banking services for the sportsclub.

The Association is therefore not yet functioning as a CIO and shall therefore be filing a ‘nil return’ to the Charities Commission for the period ending 30/09/23.

The Association will complete the transition with a resolution at an EGM or AGM the timing of which is dependent on successfully resolving the issues outlined above.
