Blue Spirit provides sailing experiences for young people (aged 14 to 25) who are experiencing a mental health challenge or facing social / economic disadvantage. Working in partnership with sail training organisations in the north-east of England, we offer anything from half-day dinghy sailing, weekend sails and 6-day residential voyages.

Objects: To Advance In Life And Relieve The Needs Of Young People Experiencing Or At Risk Of Experiencing Poor Mental Health And/or From Socially And Economically Disadvantaged Backgrounds Through: (A) The Provision Of Recreational And Leisure Time Activities In Subsidized Sailing Experiences Provided In The Interest Of Social Welfare, Designed To Improve Their Conditions Of Life; (B) Providing Support And Activities Which Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals.
