## **Achievements and Performance** 

During the past 12 months the Rushden and District International Lions has raised money for Brain Tumour Research by holding 

- clay pigeon shoot 

- selling goods - crockery, hen coop and cutlery 

- receiving donations 

- stall at Party in the Park in Rushden 

- stall at Rushden Switch on Christmas Lights 

Rushden and District Lions has also raised funds by: 

- selling books 

- stall at Rushden Switch on Christmas Lights 

- stall at Rushden Steam Fair 

- taking a Christmas Sleigh around Rushden and collecting donations 

Rushden and District Lions have made donations to the following charities: 

- Blood Bikes 

- East Northants Domestic Abuse 

- Given bedding, towels and food to the homeless at the Rushden Night Shelter 

- Kids Cancer Charity UK 

- Serve (Meals on Wheels) 

- Meals for 960 (SCAN) 

- Lions Club International for: 

   - Brain Tumour Research 

   - Uganda 

   - Floods Spain 

   - Royal British Legion – poppy appeal 

Geoff thanks Lion members for all their help and support during 2024/2025. 

## **Financial Review** 

## **Statement on the Charity Reserves** 

The Rushden and District Lions accounts have £3729.96 to assist with ongoing fundraising initiatives.  The balance outstanding on the account will be reviewed annually by the trustees. 

## **Funding Source** 

The Rushden and District Lions raises funds through fundraising activities and donations.
