## **Trustees' Annual Report** For the Period: 2-12-2022 to 05-04-2024 Charity Name: Cycling Without Age Maidenhead Charity Registration Number: 1201202 ## **1. Charity Information** ## Address: 30 Calder Court Gringer Hill Maidenhead Trustees: - Diya Singh - Amy Lovell - Sheila Attenborough ## **2. Structure, Governance, and Management** Governing Document: The Charity's constitution was adopted in 2022 and has been set up as a CIO and is in line with other affiliated chapters across the world. Trustee Recruitment and Appointment: Trustees are recruited through local networks, volunteer centres, and community outreach. New trustees are provided with training on their roles and responsibilities, including health and safety guidelines for our cycling program. We have not had a change in trustees since registration. ## **3. Objectives and Activities** Objective: Our mission is to reduce loneliness and social isolation among the elderly by providing trishaw rides that allow them to enjoy the outdoors, reconnect with the community, and share their stories. Activities: - Delivered 30 trishaw rides for elderly residents in Maidenhead - Partnered with local care homes to provide outings for residents on the electric trishaw - Attended events and met with Maidenhead Adult Social Care team to promote awareness ## **4. Achievements and Performance** Key Achievements: - Fundraised £13,000 through grants and public donations - Purchased a new electric trishaw, effectively launching CWA in Maidenhead to serve residents. - Promoted and achieved word of mouth in the community including volunteers ## Impact: Feedback from beneficiaries has been overwhelmingly positive. Being out in the fresh air, in a safe way brightened up their week. ## **5. Financial Review** Income: £13,975 - Donations incl grants: £13,521 - Community lottery: £454 Expenditure: £11,242 - Purchase of new trishaw: £10,740.00 - Maintenance and insurance: £294 - Safety equipment and miscellaneous: £436 ## **6.
