Para 1.18 | The trustees have read the guidance issued by the charity commission on public benefit. The preschool benefits children by giving them a high-quality early learning experience. We aim to ensure that children enjoy their time at preschool and are confident and ready for the transition to school. We also provide support to families and work with other agencies to ensure children’s individual needs are provided for. The provision is open to any family with pre-school age children. We advertise the provision locally and online to ensure that as many families as possible are aware of the pre-school and can benefit from it. In all decisions made by the committee consideration is given to the benefit to children and families. |

Para 1.20 | We have been supporting village events, doing craft activities at the Village fair and the children built evacuee scarecrows for the Scarecrow Trail over the May Bank holiday weekend. This was welcomed by the local community who were happy that the preschool wanted to play an active part in the local community. We have had positive feedback from current and past parents as well as from families outside of our catchment area. |
