Purpose5 and maln artlvltles
The purpose of the charity is for the relief of the poor and needy and such other charitable purposes
as the club in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.
The Rotary club sUPPOrt5 local, regional and international community projects.
The rotary club carries out various fund-raising activities Including attendance at local fetes and
other simllar activities. In addition. the Father Christmas sleigh collection around Daventry and the
surroundin8 villages with two 51eighs each night in the run up to Christmas is a major fund raiser.

The Charity trustees have complied wlth the Charities Act to have due regard to guidance on public
benefit published by the Commission.
Achlevements of the Charity
During the year the charity raised significant funds to enable it to make donations to community
charities and or8anisations as set out in the accounts.
Financial review and Pollry on resebves
The charity held reserves of £26.481 at the year-end which it 15 intended wlll be donated and spent
during the coming year. This is represented by cash at the bank.
The charity has no policy for retaining reserves in the long term.
Statement of Trustees responsibilTties
The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees Annual Report and the financial statements
n accordance with applicable law5 and regulations.

The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records that disclose with reasonable
accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable then to ensure that the financial
statements comply with the Charities Act 2011 and the provisions of the Trust deed.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Rotary Club of Danetre Daventry
charity (the Charity) for the year ended 3ty' June 2024.
Responsibllltles and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Charrty, you are resp)n5ible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (the Act)
I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's a¢¢ounts carried out under section 145 of the
2011 Act and in Carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions 8iven by
the Charity Commlsslon under sertion 1451511bl of the Att.

I have completed my examination. I confimi that no material matters have come to my attention in
connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any Material respect:
l. Accountlng records were not kept in respett of the Charity as reqUI￿d by sectlon 130 of the
Act,. or
2. The accounts do not accord with those records.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to
which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understandln8 of the
