and then lia>ses with ovr staff and carers and the Local Authority lo progress the referral. This agency has a
robust M81chin9 procedure which ensure5 thal every child referyed 15 malched lo the ca￿r w￿) can best meet
Iheir needs.
Every fos18ring household has provided a f￿llY profile, which include5 photo$ and Informatron about
Ihern$glve5 and 8 message to Ibe child or young person requiring a plac8mènt.

Short lerrn- FCC provides short-term placement5. For exarnple, children and youn9 peO￿e may require
a short-term placement to aid a rEtwn home or to a55ks1 ihem in moving to an adoptive or a permanent
p&cement. A child may be placed in an emergency, pending decisions bein9 made about the￿ fvtur8.
Foster car8rs will be working with the placing Authority on objectives within Ihe child's Car? Plan and

allows for the fonrer carer to be sUPPOrted whlst th¢ Staying Pul arrangement Is in pl8ca. Thls schernè
benefits both the young person and the c8rer.
STrJling Groups- The agerKy does assess and approva foster carers who have tho 8mtK)nal Strength
and physi¢al $paro lo rare for a sibling group. W8 recogr*se the addRional support that looklng after a
Sibling group requires so that each individual child 3chvèv8S their rnaxitnum polential.
P8rent and Chld Placements - Thi5 Agency provid85 a Parent and Child placement servlce. Foster
