## **Objectives and Activities**

Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or services identified in the accounts. 

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit of people, in particular but not exclusively older people, living in Worcester and the surrounding area, by preventing them from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society through the provision of premises in which they can meet and jointly or individually undertake and share creative, physical or recreational activities of their choice, learn or pass on skills and knowledge, and support each other socially. 

P.Greenwood, who was chairman, stepped down at the last AGM and as there were no nominations for new trustees, the existing 4 trustees continued until the middle of the year when John Francis was co-opted to the board of trustees. In the last year, a great deal of work has been put into rearranging and tidying the workshop after the relocation. Lots of electrics have been added. Dust extraction now installed The floor has been levelled up between the 3 work areas improving accessibility and removing trip hazards. Work has commenced on erecting an outdoor work area. An invited was received from the local Rotary Club to give a talk to promote the Men’s Shed movement and our shed in particular. The Makers Fair at Hallow was attended in June and though the footfall was poor due to bad weather, £123 was added to club funds. The community project for 2024 was the 4 large planters delivered to a care home in Worcester on behalf of Tudor Grange school Manufacture of bird boxes, hedgehog houses and bench refurbs for sales orders took place along side members own projects. Membership numbers at the end of 2023 was 17, at the end of 2024 it remained the same with only a couple of changes.
