**Objects:** (1) THE ONLY OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE CIO IS ESTABLISHED ARE: (A) TO PROMOTE HEALTH AND RELIEVE SICKNESS AND DISTRESS OF THOSE AFFECTED BY LYSOSOMAL STORAGE AND OTHER RARE DISORDERS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS, INCLUDING THROUGH THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ALL MATTERS CONCERNING THESE DISEASES; AND (B) TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF CHARITIES AND THE EFFECTIVE USE OF CHARITABLE RESOURCES AMONGST CHARITIES ESTABLISHED TO PROMOTE HEALTH AND RELIEVE SICKNESS IN RELATION TO THESE DISEASES, IN EITHER CASE, AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE, ANYWHERE IN THE UK AND/OR OVERSEAS(“THE OBJECTS”).

**Activities:** The UK Lysosomal Storage Disorder Collaborative (LSD Collaborative) was established to advance health, relieve sickness and enhance the wellbeing of those affected by LSDs and other rare disorders, plus their families and carers, to advance education and to stimulate the interest in all matters concerning these diseases, anywhere in the UK and/or overseas.
