During this first reporting period Chobham
Friends has succeeded in advancing the
educalion of pupils in the schoo5 by
providing additional sporting equipment and
kit, new musiGal instruments and musi
tuition, new robotics equipment suitable for
all year groups and funding new clubs and
activities. Children have access to leaming
opportunities which they wouldn't have had
before.
Achievements against
objectives set
Para 1.41
By organising a range of fun and inclusive
activities and events for pupils, their
parents, carers and guardians as well as
the teaching staff we have helped to foster
a positive, fri6ndly and welcoming
environment at the school. The PTA
successfully acts as a conduit between the
school and parents and has resulled in
belter sharing of information and feedback.
Generally, the fundraising activities have
been very SUC￿ssful with good turn out and
support from the school and teaching and
non-teaohing staff. Some events, such as
the sponsored runs and the discos have
been very successful in ternis of generating
funds. Other events, such as the Easter
Film have been less successful and so the
harity has evaluated and leamt from these
experiences so that we can run more
successful fundraising activilies in the
future.
