The Charity was registered on 21[st] November 2022 under number 1201073 as a Charitable Incorporated Organisa;on governed by a cons;tu;on based on the Founda;on model cons;tu;on. The Cons;tu;on appointed 15 organisa;ons, each of which was en;tled to appoint a trustee of the Charity. All other trustees are to be appointed by a resolu;on of a duly convened commiVee mee;ng of the trustees. 

## OBJECTS: 

District, York, the provision of facili;es for recrea;on and other leisure ;me occupa;on of individuals who have need of such facili;es by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances, or for the public at large, in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condi;on of life of the said inhabitants.

## **[st] March 2024** 

1. Copmanthorpe & District Recrea;on Centre (CIO number 1201073) was formed for the purpose of taking over the assets and undertaking of The Copmanthorpe and District Recrea;on Centre (registered charity number 503007) and con;nuing to manage them for the benefit of the general public in Copmanthorpe and District. Prior to 1[st] April 2024 it had no financial transac;ons, had given no guarantees and had no debts. 

2. **Post Balance Sheet Event** : On 1[st] April 2024 the whole of the assets and undertaking of The Copmanthorpe and District Recrea;on Centre number 503007 were transferred to Copmanthorpe & District Recrea;on Centre number 1201073 by a General Ves;ng Declara;on dated that day and since then the CIO has con;nued to manage these assets and undertaking for the benefit of the general public in Copmanthorpe and District. The Trustees have been advised that the transfer meets the criteria for merger accoun;ng under the Chari;es SORP and FRS 102 and future accounts of the Charitable Incorporated Organisa;on will be prepared accordingly.
