Objectives and Activities

In relation to these purposes, the Charity has made grants available to Christian Missionaries in the UK, Hungary and India to help with their travel costs and support their work in their local communities. The Trustees have agreed that 10% of all income generated by the Charity be donated to support Truth Planters Missionaries with a further 10% gifted to other Missionaries and Organisations whose activities align with the Charity’s Object.

The Charity has adopted a Policy on Grant Making to guide and direct its assessment of applications and decision making criteria in relation to donations.

In 2023, the Charity has raised up a new missionary to join the team in Mountain Ash, South Wales. The Charity has organised Street Evangelism carried out by volunteers and established a Men’s group in Mountain Ash to provide Christian teaching, friendship and fellowship.

In March 2023, a Mission Trip was arranged to India to encourage and support a local Missionary in his work. The Charity supports Missionary activity in India and was able to have representation to see first hand the impact and public benefit of this work in advancing the Christian faith through proclamation of the Christian Gospel alongside prayer and practical help.

In May and July 2023, the Charity was able to support the work of two churches, one in Rushden and one in Colchester, by delivering teaching and through its volunteers offering prayer ministry at their Church weekends away. Over 50 people were ministered to across the weekends.

In October 2023, the Charity assisted with some of the travel costs of Missionaries attending a Truth Planters gathering in Switzerland. This was a time of teaching, training, equipping, prayer, worship and encouragement for Missionaries gathered from the UK, Hungary and India.

Achievements and Performance

The Charity has facilitated the proclamation of the Christian Gospel in South Wales and India. Through establishing a weekly Men’s Group in Mountain Ash, attended by 8-12 men, the Charity has offered community support.

The Charity has granted financial support to a Missionary in India and obtained first hand reports of the hundreds of people who gather and benefit from this activity in India.

The Charity has also supported the training and equipping of Missionaries at the gathering in Switzerland as well as helping to raise up a new missionary in Mountain Ash.

The Charity has supported local Christian churches across South Wales and England through its volunteers providing teaching and prayer ministry at their services and weekends away.
