Ansiead ol resuliing in a booklet as referenced in last year's report, this record omprises some 60 pages of biographies, inscriptions and photographs. Discussions are on-going on how best to make this detailed piece of social history more generally available. In the meantime. a guided tour of some key graves and gravestones is nearing completion and will be available in the coming months. The plan is to launch this through an illustrated talk +THE WI LDFLOWER MEADOW: Last spring a group of volunteers planted over 150 wildflower plugs in the north end of the churchyard and this has been left to develop and create a wAld area full of native plaiits. The intention is to cut thRS area back during the summer of 2024 to see how many of these native species have survived &1d are beginning to thrive. +ST CLEMENT'S TREES: Work has been completed recording all of the trees and shrubs in the churchyard and this informaiion will provide a guide to the many varieties to be found there. The intention is for this booklet to be available during 2024. +THE BIRDS OF ST CLEMENT'S: The project has enlisted the help of an expert ornithologist from the East Kent Wildlife Group. Peter Findlay has visited St Clements on two (Kcasions so far and. through birdsong and visual idenlification, has recorded 32 different species.
