Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
For the public benefit, to advance education in the history and significance of industrial, rural passenger and military light narrow-gauge railways including by, but not limited to, preserving, restoring, exhibiting, and operating industrial, rural passenger and military narrow-gauge railway locomotives and rolling stock and by making accessible other similar items of historical interest.

The railway operated over 70 days, offering rides on the railway and discussion of the history and importance of the railways in the local region and nationally. Several school visits were also conducted.
The Mills Wood Station display boards were updated with more information on all the rolling stock.
A quarterly newsletter was instigated to widen the reach of public that we interact with.
Tours of the railway sheds are available, but on a limited basis due to the health and safety risks that need to be managed.
