The trustee$ present thèir report wth the financial statements of the cha¥ty for the year ended 30th April 2025.
The trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounts'ng and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended
Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 leffedive 1 January 20191.
OBJECTIVES AND ACTivinES

The primary objectives of Darul Fath Hamilton Trust are..
- To provide a place of worship for Muslims in the local area.
- To serve as a centre for religiou5, educational, and community activtties.
- TO promote understanding and integraknon ¥Mthin the local community.
- To support the welfare of the local community through charitable. swal, and wdlbeing initiatives.
Significant activities
During the year, the Masjid has undertaken the following ackn"wtEs lo further its obledlves..
Worship and Religious Services.. The Masjid continued to host daily prayers, Jumu'ah (Friday prayers),
Ramadan acts"vit*$, and other ￿li91Qu$ $eryi¢es.
Edu¢ational Programmes Imadrasahl.. The Madrasah operated throu9hout the year wth 86 students enrolled,
providing 3tNctUTed Islamic education for ¢hAdren.
- Adult Education.. Regular weekly classes were delfvered by different scholars on a range of Islamic topics.
Communty Welfrdre - Fo¢dbank.' A Fo¢dbank was launched in February 2025, wth 10 fèmil*s registered and
receiving support.
YoLrth Support Inftialives.. Youth ￿•[K$hop$ fo¢u$ing on addictions were delivered lo raise awaren•$$ and
pr¢mole positive lrfestyle choice$.
- Youth Sports Engagement Partnerships wth sports ¢oa¢hes enabled the delivery of struclured bo￿n9 training
sessions for young people.
Health an¢J Wellbeing Acti¥Mties.' Fitness acliwtie5 wer* expanded to cater for men, WDmen, and Children.
Indudin9 general fitness sessions and cycling.
BaytLbl Ihsaan Programmes". Programme$ under 8aytul Ihsaan were expanded, in¢roasing provision for women
and teenage git1s.

The Trustees have given due consideration to the Charity Commi$sion's guidance on the Publi¢ 8enefft
requiroment and confimi that the aclivitse5 undertaken durin9 the year provided clear public benefft.
Voluntsors
Darul Fath Hamilton Trust continue$ lo be supported by a Small number of volunteers who assist on an ad-hoc
basis.

- Increased youth trngagement throu9h workshops and sports activrties.
- Expanded provision for women and leena9e girfs through Baytul Ih$8an.
- Improved access to fitness anij w911being activib'es for the communty.

Financial position
Datul Fath Hamilton Trust maintained a stable finanGial po$rfion throughout the year.
Reserves policy
Unrestricted reserves are maintained at a level equivalent tts approximately three to six mtsnths of expendrture.
Going conc•rn
The Trustees have no contems regarding the charty continuing as a going eoncem.
FUTURE PLANS
In the coming year, the Darul Fath Hamilton Trust intends to further develop educatlon. welfare supp￿, youth
initiatives, women's programmes, and community partnerships.

BASIS OF PREPARING THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
The financial statements ol the charrty. which is a public benefit entity undeT FRS 102, have been
prepared in accordanee with the Chartties SORP IFRS 1021 'Accounling and Reporting by Charitie5:

and Republic of Ireland, and the Charlties Act 2011. The linancial statements have been prepared under
the historical cost conventK*n.
Assets and liabilities are initially recognised al historical cost or tr8nsath.on value unless otherwise stated
in Televant accounting policy notels).
The fun¢tK)nal currency of the charty is considered lo be pounds 31eding because that 18 the ujrrency of
the primary economic environment in ￿lch the Charty operates. The financial statements are also
presented in pounds sterfing, The amounts in the financial ststements are presented to the nea￿st £1,
unle$$ otherwse staled.
The preparation of the ffinanci￿ statements in complhgnce with FRS 102 requires the use of certain crit￿al
accounting estimates. 11 also require5 management to exer¢i$e judgement in ap￿YIng the charitys
accounting policies. There are no significant areas requiring material judgements. estimates or
assumptions.
GOIMG CONCERN
Al the b.me of approving the finanGial stslemenls, the trustees have a reasonable expectation that the
charity ha$ adequate resources to continue in operational exislen¢e for thè loreseÈable future. Thus the
trustees continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounts'ng in preparing the financlal statem￿tS.
INCOME
AJI in￿rne is reco9nised in the Statement of Financial Actiwti8s once the charity has entrtlement to Ihe
funds, f( 1$ probable that the income ￿11 be reeeived and the amount can be measured reliabty.
Cash donations are recognised on receipt. Other donations are recognised once the charity has been
notifEd of the donation, unless performance ctsndf(ions Tequire deferral of the amount. Income tax
recoverable in relation lo donations receivèd under Grfi Aid or deeds of covenant is recognised al the time
of the donation. Fees are recognise<l vthen they are rec•ived.
The value of services provided by volunteers is difficutt to put a monetsry value on and therefore has not
been included in accordartee with the Charities SORP IFRS1021.
EXPENDITURE
Liabilities are recognised as expendrture as soon as there 1$ a legal or con$tnJctlve obligation committing
the Gharity to that expenditure. it is probable that a transfer of economic benefits will be required in
seluement and the amount of the obligation can be measured reliably. Expendi(ure is accounted for on an
acuuals basis and has been classified under headings that aggregate all cost related to the category.
Where Gosts cannot be directly attributed to particular headings they have been allocated to adivities on
basi$ Con￿Stent wth Ihg use of resources.
Charitable expenditure comprlses Ihtsse costs incurred by the ehafty in the delivery of its activrties and
$ervice$ lor its beneficiaries. 11 indudes both costs that Can be allocated direcuy lo such actiwlies and
those costs of an indirect nature necessary to support them.

of the charity.

FUND ACCOUNTING
Unrestricted funds can be used in accordance with the charitsble objectives at the discretion of the
trustees.
Restricted funds can onty be used for particular restricted purposes wthin the oty'ects of the charity.
