|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|This is our first year as a registered charity,<br>although Torbay Bikers for Kids has been a<br>fundraising group for the 5 previous years.<br>The Charity Commission required the<br>charity’s first year’s accounts to be from 10th<br>November 2022 until 30thSeptember 2023,<br>a period of ten and one third months. Next<br>year’s accounts will be a full twelve-month<br>period.<br>A significant amount of the money raised in<br>the period was due to the chair’s husband<br>raising funds for the charity with the hire of<br>his personal collection of funeral hearses<br>and wedding cars, where the money for<br>their hire is donated to the charity. Torbay<br>Council gave a grant towards the charity’s<br>running costs.<br>The charity has had excellent feedback on<br>social media and in personal messages<br>from all of the parents and, or guardians of<br>children the charity has purchased essential<br>items for, including how the essential item<br>has, or will, improve the life, and or,<br>education of the child.|
