The charity is governed by the Trustees, but the day-to-day management
ol the club encompassing match arrangement, pitch hire, referee
organising and ￿1 playing member activities is managed by the
Managemeni Commirtee.
Some Trusiees- the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer sit on both
committees. and Ihis is further complemented by Director of Fooiball
{MenlBoysl, Director of Footbdl (LadieslGirls) and the Head of Operations
of ihe club.

Contributions from the Management Committee ensure the smooth
running of the club throughout the course of the season.
The Head of Operations is responsible for allocating pitches, referees, kit
management and all communication to and from team managers.
The Trusiees assess risk from ail operational aspects of the football club
and have focused on providing knowledge, personal coaching, and
Iraining io the managemeni team to mitigate these risks. In addition, the
club runs "Onside" sessions covering many aspects of running a football
including safeguarding. expected standards of behaviour and the process
lo raise concerns. flag any issue5 or to benefit from Specific Skill or
knowledge held in the club.
Risk insurance is held by the club both for the Trustees and through the
Middlesex FA to cover all playing aspects of the club.

Ob-ectives and activities
The Objectives of the club are..
l. To advance Ihe amateur sport of association football
2. To promote the participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of
boys and girls aged from six years and upwards, for those that
are resident in Teddington and the surrounding area, by the
PTOViSiOnS of facilities and people to support the playing of
association footb￿1.
3. To enable Ihe lacilities, equipment, and necessary support to be
made available to non-club members to ensure the club meets its
responsibilities in respect of inclusion, in conjunction with the
Middlesex Football Association.
4. Facilities include the provision of pitches with attached
buildingslclubhouses. suitable equipment and the organisation of
foolball activities and other social activities.
5. To further such other charitable purposes in Teddington and the
surrounding area as ihe Club Committee may from time to time
decide.

Professional FA Qualified Coaches provide weekly coaching sessions for
each team.
A Professional FA Qualified Coach provides weekly specialist goalkeeper
coaching.
All ieams have access 10 ream kit.
Referees are provided for all matches.
Non-compeiilive friendlies are arranged for younger age groups. Older
leams Compeie in suitable leagues.
An annual lour is arranged lo a suitable tournament.
Financial assislance lor Ihe annual subscription fees is provided where
necessary. Suppon is provided by The Gosling Foundation.
Membership is all-inclusive and does not discriminate on the level of
ability.

Furthermore. Ihe spon promotes a sense of team spirit, fair play and

developing a SPiTiI Ot intolerance of any bullying and racism o( any kind
amongst the players and iheir families.
The beneficiaries of ihe club are aged between six and 20, resident in
and around Teddin￿On who panicipate in. exercise and experience,
physical and mental skill or exertion, in line with the definition of sport in
Ihe Charilies Acl 2011.
In deciding who will ber)efit, the Trustees have regard to the current level
of membership from time to time as well as the capacity of the Club to
accommodate funher members in that age group. For any members who
cannot join Immediate￿ a first-come, first-seNed waiting list operates.
Furthermore, Ihe club operates a strict equality policy in accordance with
FA gLJidelines.

Summary of the main
achievements of the charlty
during the year
Members ol rhe management (eam have been spending significant
periods of lime negolialing a renl review which we have had with our
landlord on our main home ground at Bushy Park.
The club also maintained ils 3 star FA accreditation which 15 the highest
accrediiaiion level available.
Despite some challenging weather conditions during the season, most
games were played. and fooiball was Provided throughout due to a
switch io some local all-weather pitches and teams playing "double-
headers" to ensure teams abided by league rules where necessary.
The Club Secreiary and Operational Head were instrumental in ensuring
a continued safe environment for all playing members, coaches,
managers. and iheir families.
Communications to all our members were managed by the Club
SecTelary irb conjunction with the Operational head.
Financial PTessuTes Temain due to the Management's Team belief that
subscriplions cannoi be Taised above Prevailing inflation rates. More
focus has been given to generating money from events, donations, and
sponsorship on a leam-by-leam basis and that will be the plan for the
upcoming season. Full focus is given lo cash flow - particularly during the
low point (May)- and funds build during June as the subs window is

A full management team is in place and very active in support of all
footballing activities including the planning of awards evenings and a
chr1￿ma$ party as well as a full season of footb￿1.
Teddinglon Athletic Football Club playing members within the club
declined from 665 10 628 mainly due to losing several older teams Wlth
larger squads. We siill had 46 teams though comprising 29 boys. 13 girls.
I man's and 3 ladies, leams.
Further effons have been made during the season to maintain the high
levels on the behavioural aspect of the game. Continued scrutiny within
all forms of media on ihe behaviour of supporters, managers and
uliimately players are important to the club. The club has sought to
maintain high levels of expected behaviour from all members of the club
Ihrough educaiion and consisteni messaging io all ieams throughout the
season.
The club fully endorses the FA Respect campaign. The trustees look to
follow all initiatives provided by the FA to protect the future image of the
game. This focus will continue lo eliminate any adverse behaviour. The
ongoing good behaviour and minimal incidence of fines through on-field
incidenis is further iestameni io Ihe qU￿lty of the coaching each team
receives.

Cash balance at the end of the financi￿ year was £9.250. increasing by
approximately £5.950 compared lo the last year end.
Brief statement of the

The increase is primarily due to an increase in overall subscription
revenues from an increase in player count, the receipt ol a one-off FA
Granl and an increase in pilch cosls for both matches and training.
The FA grant has been reflected in the Charity's restricted reseNes as at
31Ma
2025.

The main source of fvnds is from player subscriptions but with an active
marketing team and the generosity of local sponsors, funds have also
been received as sponsorship and as subsidies for kit costs.

performance and behaviour. and il is believed that the growth ol the club
is leslamenl lo rts approach and reputation in the local area.

The club continued with ils plans to start a team for children with disabilities under the FA Comets
Programme. The first session was held with a head coach, parent volunteers and 4 children. The aim is to
make this a regular event.

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees
consider that an audit is not required for this year under Section 144{2) ol the Charities Act 2011 (the
2011 Act) and ihai an independent examinaiion is required.
