TRUSTEES’ ANNUAL REPORT

AFRICAN DISABILITY SUPPORT NETWORK (ADSN)

For the Years Ended 31 March 2022 to 31 March 2025

CHAIR’S INTRODUCTION

It gives me immense pleasure to present the Trustees’ Annual Report for the African Disability Support Network (ADSN) covering the budget years from 02 November 2022 to 08 August 2024

These three years have unfortunately been marked by limited activity, due primarily to the ongoing ill health of the Chair, which has severely affected our ability to start operations, secure funding, or engage in public-facing work. Despite our enthusiasm and early efforts following registration, this unforeseen circumstance disrupted our ability to move forward with our planned aims.

No income or expenditure has been recorded in this period, and no grants or services were delivered. Nonetheless, our charitable purpose stays vital and unchanged: to support African communities both in the UK and across targeted African countries.

This extended pause has led us to reflect and reassess. The trustees stay committed to a strategic reset as we progress. Our focus over the coming year will be on restructuring and reorganising the charity, updating our operational framework, and preparing to reconnect with potential funders, volunteers, and partner organisations.

We appreciate the patience and support of those who have stood by us, and we look forward to bringing ADSN’s mission to life with renewed clarity and determination in the year ahead.
