These objectives are pursued particularly, but not exclusively, by providing information and support to individuals who have experienced a sudden cardiac arrest, their families, and others affected by the event. Additionally, the CIO works to raise awareness of this condition among both medical professionals and the generalpublic. |

Refreshed our primary Effective Peer Support leaflet and instigated a distribution process. |

Para 1.20 | The charity was registered on the 2nd November 2022 and in this first reporting period has made significant advances in supporting cardiac arrest survivors and influencing national policy. This has been achieved through active participation in the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Defibrillators resulting in a dedicated section on survivorship and support of the Resuscitation Council UK's "My Right to Recovery" campaign at Westminster. Contributions to multiple research projects (Caress-f, Young CPR Givers and RESCQ) have helped advance understanding of survivorship needs, while a successful Survive and Thrive conference brought together nearly 200 attendees to share experiences and knowledge. The refreshed primary leaflet and new distribution process ensure vital support reaches survivors and their families when theyneed it most. |
