**treated 96 free roaming dogs and 25 free**
**roaming cats cat’s. We have focused**
**ourselves on Terra Boa , Palha Verde**
**and Murdeira when collecting the dogs**
**for Neutering with the Island Vet and**
**treating them for internal and external**
**parasites, mange, tick fever, parvo and**
**any other sickness they have. Along**
**with this we are supplying food, water,**
**and supplying food for the local families**
**that are unable to support the animals**
**themselves due to poverty.**
**We now have a volunteer who is happy**
**to keep any animal rehabilitating from**
**treatment or neutering and that has**
**been a huge asset to the charity.**|

**year of growth has been a struggle with**
**increasing prices in Cape Verde for the**
**imported food but we are pleased that**
**Tui now offer charity excess luggage to**
**our members upon request and we have**
**received a increase in physical**
**donations such as , flea and worming**
**treatment , collars , bowls , blankets ,**
**food , treats etc this year as a charity .**
**As always , our feeding tours that we**
**have focused on, are areas of extreme**
**poverty. Area’s of Palha Verde , Fatima ,**
**Palmeira and Terra Boa. Discovering the**
**the situation there, seeing the**
**improvement in the animal’s health and**
**weight is so positive. Weekly we have**
**the local families greet us , for help with**
**supplies for there pets , and due to our**
**service we are seeing a slight reduction**
**in the neglect , slowly education is**
**improving as they know help is now**
**offered .**
**The pack of dogs who we call the**
**“fantastic four” are now more trusting**
**and its lovely to see their domestic**
**side , from the aggressive dogs they**
**were previously .**
**We still have have our drop off point on**
**the island where tourists can bring**
**donations, parasite treatment, collars,**
**leads, treats, food, blankets etc and this**
**is getting more popular which is helping**
**our progress and raising people’s**
**awareness of what we do.**
**We have rehomed 13 dogs and cats to**
**various places in Europe this year.**
**Which is something we are extremely**
**proud of and our dogs have all settled**|
**into there families perfectly , due to the training they have received by our foster carers and socialisation. Deborah will be visiting in July , to check on the situation but we have had several visits from members this year that are very happy with the improved situation in Sal, Cape Verde .**
**We have several dogs in foster , helping people who wish to rehome dogs they have fallen in love with in cape verde , we assist with our advice , expertise in travel procedure and also with our trainer on the island .**
