We have focused**<br>**ourselves on Terra Boa , Palha Verde**<br>**and Murdeira when collecting the dogs**<br>**for Neutering with the Island Vet and**<br>**treating them for internal and external**<br>**parasites, mange, tick fever, parvo and**<br>**any other sickness they have. Along**<br>**with this we are supplying food, water,**<br>**and supplying food for the local families**<br>**that are unable to support the animals**<br>**themselves due to poverty.**<br>**We now have a volunteer who is happy**<br>**to keep any animal rehabilitating from**<br>**treatment or neutering and that has**<br>**been a huge asset to the charity.**|

Area’s of Palha Verde , Fatima ,**<br>**Palmeira and Terra Boa. Discovering the**<br>**the situation there, seeing the**<br>**improvement in the animal’s health and**<br>**weight is so positive. Weekly we have**<br>**the local families greet us , for help with**<br>**supplies for there pets , and due to our**<br>**service we are seeing a slight reduction**<br>**in the neglect , slowly education is**<br>**improving as they know help is now**<br>**offered .**<br>**The pack of dogs who we call the**<br>**“fantastic four” are now more trusting**<br>**and its lovely to see their domestic**<br>**side , from the aggressive dogs they**<br>**were previously .**<br>**We still have have our drop off point on**<br>**the island where tourists can bring**<br>**donations, parasite treatment, collars,**<br>**leads, treats, food, blankets etc and this**<br>**is getting more popular which is helping**<br>**our progress and raising people’s**<br>**awareness of what we do.**<br>**We have rehomed 13 dogs and cats to**<br>**various places in Europe this year.**<br>**Which is something we are extremely**<br>**proud of and our dogs have all settled**|





**into there families perfectly , due to the training they have received by our foster carers and socialisation. Deborah will be visiting in July , to check on the situation but we have had several visits from members this year that are very happy with the improved situation in Sal, Cape Verde .** 

**We have several dogs in foster , helping people who wish to rehome dogs they have fallen in love with in cape verde , we assist with our advice , expertise in travel procedure and also with our trainer on the island .**
