## **Trustees report** 

L4l was established as a charity in October 2022 with the objectives being: 

- To support schools in the Ashanti Region of Ghana improve (where they exist) toilet facilities and in building new ones where required. 

- To support schools in Ghana with their work on hygiene and health issues linked with the provision of toilets. 

As expected, it was a slow start before activities gained momentum. The time it took in setting up a bank account also contributed to a slow start. Trustees did develop a constitution base on available guidelines and does include financial guidelines and scrutiny. 

Committee meetings follow a three-monthly schedule, and the AGM is open to all members. 

In this reporting period we did receive a donation from a committee member who undertook a sponsored walk, a donation from the Lions Club and a donation from a supporter. 

Future activities – trustees together with committee members will launch a fundraising campaign using an international fundraising platform as well as organising a series of smaller fundraising activities. 

Based on planned activities, trustees anticipate that the next report submitted will be more substantial.
