goveming document
Para 1.17
The object of the CIO is the
advancement of the Christian faith in
particular (but without limitation) by
providing worship, prayer and
Christian teaching.
The aim of Love Stafford is to create
a unity partnership between
churches and Christian organisations
that will add value to the wider
community of Stafford and the area
around it. Love Stafford creates the
opportunity for church leaders to
meet monthly for prayer and
networking.

Easter Events
There is also a strategic role that the
Community Chair of Love Stafford
has in working with the Borough

Council to ensure that the work of
churches within the borough is
understood and used effectively. This
has been particularly helpful around
co-ordinating and linking foodbanks
and the provision of community
spaces. It also helps churches
understand where they can
contribute effectively and
purposefully in our local
communities when The Borough
council has identified gaps in
provision that could be filled by the
local church.

charity's work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as
whole.
P*a 1.20
Love Stafford hosted a Saltmine
production of The Liberator.
This followed on from last yearfs
Passion Play and was another
opportunity to bring a Community
Theatre company to Stafford
focusing on the Christian Faith.
In January we hosted the Love
Stafford Celebration and Mission
Market {week of Christian Unity),
with speaker Jo Swinney from A
Rocha International. This is an
opportunity to bring churches
together and pray and worship
together and demonstrate the unity
within our town churches. It is
always a significant event for church
communities.
Good Friday walk. This year we
followed the route of the previous
year's Passion Play which allowed us
to remind people of past events and
draw attention to Easter weekend
and the foundations of the Christian
faith once again.
