2. Structure, Governance, and Management

• Governing document: The charity is a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) governed by its constitution under the Foundation model. It is managed entirely by its foundation trustees

• Trustee governance: The foundation trustees remained unchanged during this financial year, with all three original trustees continuing their service. Regular trustee meetings were conducted throughout the period in strict accordance with our governing constitution.

• Policy review & risk management: To maintain robust regulatory standards and governance, the trustees reviewed and updated all existing internal operational policies during this period, including the Investment of Charity Funds Policy, Campaign and Political Activity Policy, and the External Speakers Policy,

3. Objectives and activities

• Summary of purposes: As set out in the governing document, the charity's objective is to promote the education of people in the UK and Nigeria in such ways as the trustees think fit.

• Main activities: The charity's main activities include fundraising, advocacy, provision of education & learning activities & the advancement of its objects.

• Public benefit statement: The trustees have had due regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. All planned activities are undertaken to further our charitable purposes for the public benefit.

4. Achievements and Performance

• Summary of main achievements: The charity continued to focus its efforts on internal governance, policy review, and administrative sustainability during this window. No new public-facing educational programs were rolled out, allowing the foundation trustees to ensure all operational policies remained up to date and aligned with Charity Commission guidelines.

• Operational & banking stability: Following the previous year's bank migration, the charity maintained stable financial operations utilizing its established corporate account with Virgin Money.

5: Financial review

• Financial position: The charity generated £0.00 in gross income during this financial period.

• Expenditure and reserves: Total expenditure for the period was £64.75. This was comprised of two operational outgoings: a payment of £14.39 on 15 November 2024 and an administrative payment of £50.36 on 18 February 2025.

• Reserves policy: The charity holds its remaining balance of £1,284.30 as unrestricted reserves to support future educational initiatives in line with its core objectives.
