The board of Trustees for Evolve Recovery Homes present their annual report and audiled accounts ￿￿th
flnancial 5tstements ol the charty lor the year ended 31 December 2024. The TNstees have adopted
the provisions of Accounling and Reportlng by charllles: Statement of Recommended Practice
appllcable to charlties prepafingtheir accounts in accordance wilh Ihe Financial Reporting standard
appllcable In the UK and ROI Chanties SOAP IFRS 1021 (EFFECTIVE l January20191 The Trustees also
conflmi they comply wtth the requlrements of the Charities Act 2011.
2. STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT

Apart from the flrst charity truslees. every trustee must be appolnted by a resolution passed at a
property convened meetlng of Ihe charfty trustees.
In selecllng IndbvlduaLs for appolntmenl as charitytrustees, the chailty Inistees must have regard to
Ihe skllls, knowledge and experience needed forihe effective administratlon ol the CIO.
3. ACTIVITIES AND 08JECTIVES

To reueve persons who are In conditions ol need or hardship related to a negative lifestyle and a range of
social and domestic problems Iparticularty. but not exclusively as a result of substance abusel and to
relieve the dislress caused. by providing a short-term iesldential home Mlh support. and piovldlng
education. Iiainlng. employabllity assistance and adwce to such persons.

4. ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
The second year has seen continued commltment Irom staff and volunteers at Evolve Recovery Homes
to dellveT a quality servlce to our beneficiarles. We have increased prowslon and modified deliveryto
better addres5 the complexities ol residents lating the consequences of negative life5tyLes. This has
helped them to work towards reachlngthelr full potential. Thls Is a process forlhe reslden15 that can
take tlme bul Is a very rewarding and fuifilungjoumeyto make.
The resldents we support galn beneflclal Ilfe skllls whitst bulldlng healtty reLationshlps and learning to
give back to their communriies. Stafl and Volunteer5 work hard to asslst and support the residents
ullllslng ihelr Ille experlence. prolessional quallllcatlons. indivldual character, and unlque
personautles. Our resldents achleve abstlnence Irom street drugs. alcohol. arHI opiate 5ubsiiiute
treatment medlcatlon. Not only does thls beneflt the Indlvldualslhemselves. but It also gfves hope to
new iesldents as It Inspiies them as to vthat can be achieved.
The founder and CEO has 4wJrked especlally hard this yeaito develop Ihe stsfl team. Ensuringtraining
and development in Irauma inlormed practlces across the whole servlce. Thls Is In preparatlon for
Ihe Intensfve Support Sutte whlch alms to bridge the gap between prison and semi-lndependent Uvln&
Thls bulldlngwlll offer approprtate speclaU5t accommodatlon wtth rapid access crisls interventlon.
This has been designed'by and for. women. Improving access to. and experlence of 5UPPOrt lo protect
ctlms. partlcuiarly. Ihose at high risk of serious ham. The prolect alms to lacllltate educalion and
preventlon to support behaviour change. Thls project will focus on a public health approach that
encourages long term change foi the women and girts in our local and wider communities. The alm Is
to empower. educate, and support wornen and girls tothrl¥e and to continue to co-produce strate8y,
pollcy, process and Se￿iCe delfverywth those ￿th Ilfe expeflence.
We have contlnued the stage 3 Programme Ifoi residents who have progressed suff icientty In thelr
peisonaljourney ol recoveryl. training and equipplng them lo be peer leaders. whilst also continuing
to offer support for thelr ongolng recovery. Stage 3 resldents supportlng stage I resloents has proved
to be Immensely successful and hugely beneficlal io au residents and Continues in the day lo day
dellvery ol se￿ce.
During the yeai we have Implemented a system thal gathers data to help the staff and Trustees
measure the difference that Evolve has made in the lives of its benellclarie5. Thls has simplified the
gatherlng of beneficlarles who have continued to believe In thevision and values of Evolve.
Flnally, the Trustees would like to thank everyone who has been involved In the 2 year5 growth and
development of Evolve Recovery Homes. Thanks a150 goes lothe funders, volunteers. slalf and
beneflclarles who have COn￿nUed to believe In the vision and values of Evolve.
