TO RECORD AND ENCOURAGE THE PRESERVATION OF BUILDINGS, MONUMENTS, DOCUMENTS AND OTHER EVIDENCE RELATING TO THE HISTORY OF THE AREA.

**Activities:** Investigation and publication of local history. Management and support of local museum. Oganising educational visits to the museum. Regular meetings to hear experts speak of local and wider topics of historical interest.
