Mimosa House aims to advance art by female and queer artists, as well as advancing education in the arts by encouraging the enjoyment of art by female and queer artists. Mimosa House provides a welcoming, open community space for the public to engage with art, and for women/LGBTQ-plus artists and the wider public to meet, share ideas, and build cross-cultural connections.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:a) For The Public Benefit To Promote The Visual Arts Of Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Performance, Film And Sound Art, In Particular By Artists Who Are Female And Queer Who Engage With The Topics And Issues Of Identity, Social Exclusion, Diversity And Gender Inequality Through The Establishment Of An Art Gallery In London.b) To Advance The Education Of The Public In All Aspects Of The Aforementioned Visual Arts Through The Establishment Of A Programme Of Art Exhibitions, Workshops, Resources And Presentations For The General Public.
