Trustees’ Annual Report for Chippenham Radio For the year ending 31st March 2025
Introduction
Chippenham Radio aims to provide a comprehensive music and information-based radio service for the staff and patients of Chippenham Hospital, as well as the residents of the town. Our programming includes a diverse mix of music, local and national news, lifestyle content, well-being advice, and features that raise the profile of and promote the work and events of local organisations, groups, and charities.
Transition Period
Chippenham Radio was established to facilitate the transition from an unincorporated association to a modern CIO Charity structure. As part of this transition, all assets from Chippenham Hospital Radio will be transferred to Chippenham Radio upon the winding up of the former. Chippenham Radio will then continue the mission of Chippenham Hospital Radio by providing a radio service for the people of Chippenham and the staff and patients of Chippenham Community Hospital.
Financial Overview
For the Financial year ending: 31 March 2024
For this reporting period, our financial return shows a zero balance, as Chippenham Radio has not yet commenced operations. The intention is to wind up the original charity and begin operations in early 2025.
