The Object of the Charity and application of income and property and rts public benefit is..
The provision and maintenance of the Village Hall for the use of local inhabitants, without
religious or polrtical distinction, for meetings, ￿tU￿, classes and recreation and leisure-time
occupation, wrth the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
The income and property of the Charty must be applied solely towards the promotion of the Object
of the Charity. None of the income or property of the Charty may be paid or transferred directly or
indirectly by way of dividend. bonus or otherw5se by way of profft to any member of the Charity.
The object of the Charity is wholly for the public benefiL
Under a Deed dated 4 July 1899 the land and premises were vested in the Official Custodian and so
continue. After the creation of the CIO the Charty Commission recommended that the Trustees

arrange for the propety to be registered at the Land Registry. This has been actioned and is
pro￿edIng.
The Charity only commenced operating on 1 November 2023 when, by way of a General Vesting
Declaration. the activrties and assets were passed to it by the previously existing Malvern Wells
Village Hall charty number 206763. That original charity number 206763 was ck)sed by the Charity
Commission on 6 March 2025.
During the year under review the Trustees have attempted to ensure that the Village Hall is
frequenlly used by local organisations and indivKluals. The Wells Club. located in the lower ground
floor of the Village Hall has continued to thrive. The flat, also on the lower ground floor, was
redecorated when the tenant moved away. There was a VOKI period of three vrfeeks before the new
tenant moved in. The Hall central heating boiler was ￿placed during the year. A grant of £500 was
received from our County Councillor lowards the cost of the new boiler.
The resulting income from all the use of the Village Hall has enabled the Trustees to ensure that the
premises have been properly mainlained. Surplus income is retained to cover the cost of any future
significant Maintenan￿ of the Village Hall and is, as appropriate, held within an interest-bearing
deposit account. The Charty has no employees.
The Trust has been awarded a grant by Malvem Hills District Council under the Communty Facility
Legacy Grant Scheme which will enable the kitchen facilities to be updated with a view to increasing
the use of the Hall and further supporting the developmenl of a community hub for well-being. A
Drop-ln Club has started, meeting on a monthty basis.
For the ￿e1ve months from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025, being the period under review,
the income was £12.394 and the expenditure was £12,612.
On 31 December 2025 the cash at bank was £6,560 and on deposit was £32,568 The reserve at 31
December 2025 was £38.740.
