## 2. Trustees’ Statement 

The Trustees present this financial statement for the year ended 31 October 2025. 

During the accounting period the charity was in the process of winding down its activities. The Trustees therefore focused on completing existing fundraising activities, meeting outstanding commitments and bringing the charity’s financial affairs to an orderly conclusion. 

The financial records comprise the charity’s main bank account together with its petty cash records. 

## 3. Summary of Financial Activity 

Main Bank Account 

The main bank account had an opening balance of **£6,630.95** at 1 November 2024. 

The records provided show total receipts of **£1338.58** and total payments of **£7969.53** , resulting in a recorded closing bank balance of **£3111.06** . 

Petty Cash 

The petty cash records had an opening balance of **£307.98** . 

During the period, total receipts recorded were **£978.15** and total payments were **£855.13** and a calculated closing petty cash balance of **£123.02** .

The closing figure comprises the recorded bank balance of **£3111.06** together with the calculated petty cash balance of **£123.02.** 

## 5. Nature of Receipts 

The charity’s receipts during the year included fundraising income and other monies raised through activities supporting the school and the charity’s objectives. The bank records include receipts described as fundraising, clothes bank income and other fundraising activities. 

The petty cash records also include receipts from fundraising activities, including a movie night, a raffle and other school-related fundraising. 

## 6. Expenditure 

Expenditure during the year related to the charity’s activities and commitments. The bank records include expenditure on classroom objects, cinema transport, electrical work, gazebos, PAYE/loan payments and other costs. 

Petty cash expenditure included costs relating to fundraising events, Christmas activities, school/teacher purchases and other charity-related expenditure. 

## 7. Winding Down 

As the charity was winding down, the Trustees sought to ensure that remaining funds were managed appropriately and that outstanding commitments were settled. 

The Trustees intend that the remaining financial affairs of the charity are dealt with in accordance with the charity’s governing document and applicable Charity Commission requirements. 



## 8. Trustees’ Declaration 

The Trustees confirm that the financial statement has been prepared from the charity’s bank and petty cash records and, to the best of their knowledge and belief, represents the financial activity recorded for the period. 

The Trustees acknowledge that the bank records supplied contain some transactions dated outside the stated accounting period and these dates should be verified before the accounts are formally submitted.
