ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE

Summer 2024 The Founda3on’s official website was successfully launched this year, with the generous support of a volunteer who has taken on the design and ongoing management of both the site and the Founda3on’s social media plaYorms. These channels now serve as key means of showcasing the Founda3on’s work, achievements, and community impact. Elthorne Park High School con3nued its commitment to suppor3ng the Founda3on as its Charity of the Year. This valuable partnership between the Founda3on and local schools has grown steadily, strengthening 3es within the community. Elthorne Park High School also joined forces with St Ann’s School for their Summer Arts Fes3val, further embedding the collabora3on between the two schools and raising awareness of the Founda3on’s aims.

This year also marked the Founda3on’s first appearance at the Hanwell Carnival. Trustees, supported by volunteers, led a lively parade through the town and hosted stalls to raise both funds and awareness. The event proved to be an excellent opportunity to connect with the wider community and share the Founda3on’s mission.

In addi3on to these ac3vi3es, the Founda3on was delighted to sponsor the school prom for leavers as well as the end-of-year celebra3on at St Ann’s School. These events were a highlight for pupils, providing a joyful opportunity to mark their achievements, celebrate friendships, and create las3ng memories. The Founda3on’s contribu3on ensured that all pupils could take part in these special occasions, reflec3ng our commitment to suppor3ng not only educa3on but also the wellbeing and happiness of young people. We remain deeply grateful to all those who have supported the Founda3on financially, including individual donors and those who have undertaken fundraising on our behalf. Their generosity and commitment have been vital in enabling the Founda3on to con3nue and expand its work.

ANNUAL REPORT 2025

Autumn 2024 To mark World Mental Health Day, the Founda3on provided resources to support the wellbeing of staff at St Ann’s School. A special parents’ mental health mee3ng was also organised, offering families the opportunity to share experiences, receive guidance, and highlight the importance of mental health within our community. The Christmas season was celebrated on a larger scale this year, with events proving both fes3ve and memorable. The Christmas Raffle drew great enthusiasm, with a range of prizes on offer. The star prize – two Eurostar return 3ckets – was met with par3cular excitement. The winners later shared their joy and recounted how much they enjoyed using their 3ckets, a reminder of the posi3ve impact these events bring to families.

The Founda3on also partnered with Elthorne Park High School for a carol singing event at Paddington Sta3on. Their wonderful performance drew in commuters and visitors alike, spreading fes3ve cheer while raising awareness of the Founda3on’s work.

Trustees and volunteers took part in the Christmas Huts at Ealing Broadway, using the opportunity not only to raise funds but also to promote disability awareness among the wider public. The stalls provided valuable engagement with local shoppers and helped shine a light on the Founda3on’s mission. The Christmas Market at St Ann’s School was another great success, with more stalls than ever before. Parents, pupils, and visitors all enjoyed the lively atmosphere, and the event provided pupils with the opportunity to showcase and develop their skills. The market highlighted the strong sense of community at the school and the ways in which fes3ve celebra3ons can bring people together.

ANNUAL REPORT 2025

Spring 2025 In February, the Founda3on organised a trip to the Twist Museum in central London for pupils of St Ann’s School and their parents. The ou3ng provided a wonderful opportunity for families to spend 3me together, explore an engaging cultural venue, and enjoy a memorable day out. The Founda3on also supported the school through the provision of key resources. Sports mats were donated to enhance pupils’ learning and physical development, while prac3cal equipment, such as microwaves, was supplied to support staff during lunch3mes. These contribu3ons, though modest, play an important role in enriching daily school life for both pupils and staff. A par3cular highlight this year was a special exhibi3on of pupils’ artwork at a gallery in Ealing Broadway. The exhibi3on gave pupils the chance to express their crea3vity, while also offering valuable work experience in preparing, cura3ng, and presen3ng their art to the public. Visitors were able not only to appreciate the talent and effort on display but also to purchase pieces, providing pupils with a sense of pride and achievement. This event was a powerful reminder of how crea3vity can build confidence and foster community engagement.
