## **For the Year Ended 31 August 2023** 

## **Introduction** 

The LEO Foundation is a non-profit organisation that was established in October 2022. The Foundation's objectives are to foster education and social inclusion within the LEO community. 

The Foundation is governed by a board of trustees. The trustees are responsible for  the  overall  management  of  the  Foundation  and  for  ensuring  that  the Foundation fulfils its objectives. 

The Foundation is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people and people ensuring inclusion. The Foundation is confident that it has the resources and expertise to achieve its objectives. Through various initiatives, the Foundation  strives  to  improve  education  and  social  inclusion  within  the LEO Academy Trust communities. 

## **Year in Review** 

The  Foundation's  first  year  of  operation  was  focused  on  establishing  the organisation  and  putting  in  place  the  necessary  structures  and  systems  to support its objectives. 

During the year, the Foundation: 

- Developed a strategic plan 

- Recruited and trained personnel 

- Established financial controls 

- Developed relationships with key stakeholders 

The Foundation did not incur any expenses during the year as it is still in the early stages of operation. 

## **Looking Ahead** 

The Foundation is excited to begin its work in the coming year and  is committed to making a positive impact on the community and is grateful for the support of its donors and volunteers. 

## **Conclusion** 

The Foundation is confident that it has made significant progress in its first year of operation. The Foundation is well-positioned to achieve its objectives and make a lasting impact on the community.
