**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ('THE OBJECTS') ARE TO PROMOTE THE PROTECTION OF ADULTS AND CHILDREN WHO HAVE SUFFERED FROM OR ARE EXPOSED TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OR OTHER DOMESTIC ABUSE BY SUCH MEANS AS ARE CHARITABLE INCLUDING (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF THEIR MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH, THE RELIEF OF NEED, THE PROVISION OF ADVICE AND INFORMATION, AND THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH AND EDUCATION.

**Activities:** The objects of the Charity are to promote the protection of adults and children who have suffered from or are exposed to domestic violence or other domestic abuse by such means as are charitable including (but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) the preservation and protection of their mental and physical health, the relief of need, the provision of advice and information.
