Objectives and activities
The charity objects are the provision of quality activities, trips, support and friendship to adLilts with
learning disabilities and autism in the Ryedale and North Yorksliire Moors area.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit
We are a not for profit fully inclusive organisation wliich serves a Ivide area in the local community
and have arranged a variety of activities including trips to the theatre, short break holidays in a
caravan, and regular fellowship meetings for members and supporters. As a result of a generous
bequest we received in 2021 we have been able to purchase our own static caravan which is sited at
the coast and is available for our members and their families to rent at a reasonable cost.
Summary of the main achievements during the period
Providing a safe and friendly environment for adults with a learning disability.
The charity's policy on reserves
We try to keep a reserve of three months wages for staff in case we need Ihem.

Independent examiner's report to the trustces for the year ended 31st March 2025
I report on tlie accounts of the charity, whicli are set out on pages 4 to 7.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
Tlie charity's trustees are responsible for Ihe preparation of Ihe accounts. Tlic charity's trustecs
consider that an audit is not required for Ihis year undcr seclion 144(2) of thc Charitics Act 2011 (thc
201 l Act)) and that an independent exainination is needed.
It is my responsibility to
examine the accounts under section 145 of the 201 l Act.
follow the procedures laid doivn in the general directioiis given by the Charity
Commissioners under section 145(5)(b) of the 201 l Acl. and
state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of Independent Examiner's Report
My exainination was carried out in accordance with tlic general directions given by the Charily
Commission. An examinatioii includcs a review of the accountiiig records kept by the charity and a
comparison of the accounts presented witli those records. It also includcs consideratioii of any unusual
items or disclosures iii tlie accounts, and seeking explanalions from you as trustees concerning any
such matters. The procedures uiidertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be requircd in a
full audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts prescnt a 'true and fair
vieiv, and the report is liiniled to those matters set out in the stateinent below.
Independent Examiner's Statement
In connection with my exaniiiialion, no Inalters have come to my attention:
(i)
which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements
to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the 201 l Act; and
to prepare accounts which accord witli the accounting records and comply Ivith the accounting
requirements of the 201 l Act, have not been met; or
(2)
to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding
of the accounts to be reached.
