Constitution, objectlvos and poll¢ies
The Village Hall is govemed by a Constitution adopted on 29 D8¢ember 1962 and it's objects
are to provide a Willage Hall for the use of thè inhabilanls without distinction of sex or of
political, r81igious or other opinion.
This was updated on 5th October 2022 when it becam8 a COI charity. The objectives ware as
above.
Statement of trusteè's Responslbllltles
The charities A￿ 1992 requires the trustees lo prepare financial statements for each financial
year which give a true and fair view of the slate of affairs of the charity and of the surplus or
deficit of the Charity for that period. In preparing those financial statements, th8 trustees ar8
r8quired to:
-sel8¢t suilable accounting policies and then apply them consistently.
-make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and pNdent:
-state whether applicable accounting standards have been followed, subject
to any material departures disclosed and èxplained in the flnanci81
statements,.
-prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless It is
inappropriate to presume that the charity wlll continue in business.
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with
reasonable accuracy al any time the financial position of the group and lo enable them to
ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charities Act 1992. They are also
responsible for safeguarding the assets of the group and hence for taking reasonable steps
for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregulanties.

We r6POrt to the trustees on our examination of trte accounts of the abov8
charity {Ihe Trust.) for the yéar ended 31 December 2024.
As the charity's trustees. you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts In accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
(Ihe Act-).
We report In respect of our examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and In carrying out our examination, we
have colloid all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5Xb) of the Act.
We have completed our examination. We confimi that no material matters
have come to our attention whith gives us caus8 to believe that in, any
material respect:
the accounllng r8¢ords have not been kept in accordance with
section 130 of the Charities Act: or
the accounts did not accord with the accounllng records" or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
concgming the fom and conlenl of accounts set out In the Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other Ihan any requirement
that the accounts give a Irue and fairs. view which Is not a matter
considered as part of an Independent examination.
We have no concems and have come across no matters In connection with
the examination to which attention should be drawn In this report In order to
