## Trustee Annual Report Charity Name: The George Hatfield Theatrical Arts Foundation Charity no. 1200576 This report relates to the period 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024 The principal address of the charity is :- The George Hatfield Theatrical Arts Foundation The Mill Sonning Eye Reading RG4 6TY The following individuals were the charity trustees on the date the report was approved Sally Hughes – Chairwoman Adam Rolston Samantha Aylward Steve Hatfield Clare Hatfield – Grove The following individuals served as charity trustees during the year: Sally Hughes – Chairwoman Adam Rolston Samantha Aylward Steve Hatfield Clare Hatfield – Grove The Charity was formed on 5 October 2022 and is constituted as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. The Charitable purposes of the charity are to provide funding support to young aspiring actors. To further these purposes for the public benefit the charity carried out the following activities: - (a) promoted education, and training in the theatre arts; - (b) provide access to the theatre arts; for disadvantaged 16 -21year old people in such ways as the Trustees think fit through the provision of scholarships, bursaries, maintenance allowances or grants tenable at any school, university, college or institution of higher or further education to such persons in order to further these objects and for the public benefit. The main achievements of the organisation in the year were: Individual grants of £1,200 to eight arts students from all parts of the UK. The trustees have read the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance, and have had regard to this when running the charity. A review of the charity’s financial position at 31[st] December 2024 :- In the year to 31 December 2024 the Charity had income of £15,037 and expenditure of £10,867. There are no funds held by the charity that are materially in deficit.
