**Objects:** TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, INCLUDING THEIR PARENTS, CARERS AND FAMILIES, WHO HAVE DISABILITIES AND/OR SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS IN NOTTINGHAMSHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE, PROMOTE THEIR INCLUSION IN THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND TO HELP AND SUPPORT THEM TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.

**Activities:** We provide volunteers who are parents of children with additional needs to participate in public sector meetings to provide the voice of parents to inform the creation of policy and practice by those public sector bodies. These volunteers are qualified to act in this role by virtue of their experience.
