The charity is newly set up and in the process of applying for funding to set up groupwork activities. .
## **Public benefit**
In setting our objectives and planning our activities, the trustees have considered the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit.
## **ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE**
## **Main achievements**
Securing volunteers for the project within the first 6 months of incorporation. The charity currently has 3 volunteers working on developing the work until funding is secured **.**
We held groupwork sessions to support women develop their skills and achieve accessibility in employment. Our service users increased their confidence, developed computer skills and were able to build their cv and register with many employment agencies. The outcome was achieved with users of the group becoming more independent and equipped to integrate within the communities and access volunteering opportunities.
## **FINANCIAL REVIEW**
## **Charity’s policy on reserves**
The trustees have considered the level of unrestricted reserves that would be appropriate for the charity to maintain. This will be 50% of the annual income for the second year and will be reviewed as the charity develops.
At the year ended 31 March 2024 the Charity’s bank funds amounted to £5,187 out of which £5 was unrestricted.
The reserve policy and level of reserves required will be reviewed on a regular basis by the trustees during their meetings.
The trustees declare that they have approved the trustees report above.
